We were a little late setting the table this month with the December kit.  Our sincere apologies!!  Life just got in the way and time was short.  We appreciate your kind understanding.

So without delay....

Here's some freshed baked Gingerbread Cookies for you to enjoy.

 I hope you all have as much fun with this kit as we all did.

Jessica Colby serving up a little Pumpkin Spice

Perfect Happiness

• Use Honeydew and Iridescent Gold glimmer mist on the chipboard pieces, and the background of the layout.
• The paint is a Making Memories purple, but any acrylic paint will do. I achieved the smooth look of the paint on the outer edge of the layout by using a distress ink tool with foam. It works really nicely and gives a much smoother look than with a regular or foam brush.
• Use turquoise stickles
• The flower is a Prima flower set and the stamps are from an Autumn Leaves flourish set I had in my stash.
• I used an EK Success photo corner punch on this layout and others. I have had it for a while and forgot how much I liked it. Tracy has one at the store if you wish to use!!!! :)

 

Lucky

• Using scraps of left over patterned paper I created the 3 flowers. The tallest is created by folding a 1 1/2"x12" strip of paper. The smaller flowers are just stacked circles.
• The large tulle bow on the corner is made by knotting 3 pieces together.
• Use your edge distressor on the edge of the layout for the distressed look.
• Super Easy! You can complete this layout in 30 minutes or less!

 

 

Great Friends

• Pull out that embroidery floss and have a little fun! That's what I did to create the border along the bottom of the page.
• Old Paper Distress  Ink was used with the foam tool along the edges of the layouts.

1+1=2

• Supplies Used: Olive and Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist, Platinum Stickles, Red Staz-On, Gold Inkpad
• Believe it or not, this is a quick and easy Layout! I began by creating the large embellishment at the top of the page. You can use the Accu-Cut dies to create the fleur-de-lis and flower from chipboard.

 

Family

• I used Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink  on the tag and edges of the background, as well as the family chipboard embellishment.
• Use this technique of layering the strips to create a layout with 4 pics!

Now Serving "Pumpkin Spice"

This kit is chocked full of Spice - Pumpkin Spice!!  The paper will be great for those fall pictures, pumpkin patch or even Thanksgiving pictures!

Paper Chain Wreath 
 
This was made with lots and lots and lots of paper strips that I stapled together to secure. I added a bow of black ribbon and turquoise tulle, some blingage from Teresa Collins and a peacock feather to finish it off. 

 

Notepad and pen set 
 
I took an ordinary notepad and covered it with patterned paper. For the pen, I attached the feather with double sided tape and then covered with a strip of patterned paper matching the notepad. 

 

Photo Display turned Organizer 
 
I painted the wooden pieces black and then covered them with patterned papers. I used double sided tape to attach the papers to the wood. I added mini binder clips with a snippet of ribbon to each board. I made three roses from the black ribbon and attached them with hot glue. This can be used to keep track of notes, dates, shopping lists, receipts, birthdays, etc. 

 

Envelope booklet 
 
I made a booklet out of card size envelopes. I attached some glitter paper on the front and back and used Teresa Collins transparency words on each of the envelope flaps. You can place notes, keepsakes or photos inside the envelopes. I punched holes, added two binder rings and black ribbon.
